8204dfad6a Doesn't apply file filter rules to directory. 
In Windows uses the information reported by FindFirstFile instead of calling lstat().

a9255683f4 Fixes a bug in check when detecting garbage data over the expected end of a file.

de07510220 Uses inodes to identify files.
